Council Mergers
On the 12th of May 2016 the NSW state government announced the mergers of 19 Councils across the State. These Council mergers seek to improve efficiencies by streamlining administration and delivering cost savings to the communities. The Council mergers also seek to make it easier to implement infrastructure requirements that are essential to the growing populations.
