Our Expansion into Queensland
Barker Ryan Stewart first launched its Queensland presence five years ago under the guidance of our Associate and QLD Manager, Chris Borg.
We have since successfully helped to better service our clients in the region and fill the gap that previously existed in the provision of certification services in Northern NSW to the QLD border.
“Since Barker Ryan Stewart expanded into Queensland in 2018, we have slowly but surely been gaining runs on the board with projects, and working hard on growing the contact list north of the border,” adds Chris.
“Our QLD team now have good traction on a number of fronts, and the ability to provide urban planning services in QLD will really bolster that – it’s an exciting time and we look forward to providing our high-quality services more and more in the sunshine state!”
To assist with our growing capabilities in Queensland, Barker Ryan Stewart has recently appointed Nicole Webb as the QLD Planning Manager.
Nicole joins our team as an Urban Planner with 20 years’ experience in the planning and development industry and has held in roles in both local and State government, and private practice. She has worked on a wide range of projects including large and complex greenfield and infill development across Queensland and northern NSW and oversaw the delivery of a number of State government strategic planning and policy projects relating to land supply and housing diversity in South East Queensland.
Nicole will help nurture our growing planning capabilities and team in Queensland and said, “I am very excited to join the BRS team and be back at the coal face assisting to facilitate high quality development on the ground, particularly now at a time where land and housing supply and diversity is critical. Our Queensland team is ready and raring to go!”
Upcoming Opportunities in Queensland
