BRS has been engaged by Cessnock City Council to deliver multidisciplinary surveying and engineering design services for the Wollombi Road Upgrade, a key infrastructure project supporting growth in the Cessnock region. Spanning early works, Stage 1 and Stage 2, our team has provided comprehensive services including survey, utility investigations, detailed road, drainage and pavement design, and construction-ready documentation.
The project involves major upgrades including road widening, intersection upgrades to signalised control, utility relocations, and enhanced street lighting. BRS has developed fully detailed design packages to support tendering and construction, while ensuring coordination across disciplines and compliance with Council requirements. Our involvement is supporting improved traffic flow, enhanced safety outcomes, and long-term network capacity for this critical transport corridor.
