Barker Ryan Stewart is providing subdivision services for Mirvac and John Holland, for the upcoming Waterloo Collective Development. John Holland has built the new Waterloo metro station while a joint venture between John Holland and Mirvac will deliver Waterloo Collective which includes four buildings above and next to the station.
The Waterloo Collective is designed as a mixed use, major urban renewal project and consists of four buildings: a commercial building in the north, a residential building in the center, and two buildings for student and social housing in the south. The precinct will also include community facilities, retail spaces, landscaping, gardens, a public plaza, and an entrance to the Metro.
The Waterloo Collective has been designated as Critical State Significant Infrastructure and will cost $900 million. The development will have 2200 m2 of public open plaza space, 32 000 m2 of commercial space, 25 storeys of student accommodation, 24 storeys of residential apartments, and 70 social housing apartments.
Barker Ryan Stewart’s subdivision services include stratum certification for the Southern, Central, Northern, and Station Precincts. We’re proud to be part of a green focused, community oriented development best preparing Waterloo for the future of urban life.
