Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning

Located in Sydney’s Inner West, the culturally significant Ashfield Polish Club will be redeveloped to modernise the existing facilities and help revitalise the Club.

The establishment of the Polish Club dates back to the late 1940s with the arrival of Polish emigrants in Australia following World War II. The Club was officially opened in 1967, and has since been the centre of cultural, entertainment and sporting activities for the Polish community living in Sydney.  

The mixeduse redevelopment of the site will include commercial facilities associated with the Polish Club at the ground level, in addition to residential apartments, ample basement car parking, and communal open space.   

The residential development will comprise of 88 apartments including a variety of one, two and three-bedroom apartments.  

Barker Ryan Stewart was engaged by Deicorp for the provision of traffic engineering and town planning services associated with the redevelopment

  • Traffic counts and SIDRA analysis for four intersections 
  • CPTED Report (crime prevention) 
  • Construction Management Plan 
  • Construction Traffic Management Plan 
  • Waste Management Plan
