South Eveleigh is a vibrant world-class commercial and retail precinct located on the former Eveleigh Railway Workshops site.
Established in 1882, the heritage-listed Eveleigh Railway Workshops have a rich and unique history as a pioneering industrial site that had a major contribution towards the establishment, operation and growth of the NSW railways.
Today, the historic precinct will be revitalised by Mirvac into a leading technology and innovation hub. The redevelopment of South Eveleigh includes the construction of three new buildings for commercial, retail, and community purposes. It will also include improvements to the landscaping and public domain facilities.
Barker Ryan Stewart was engaged by Mirvac for the provision of road and drainage certification services for several stages of the development.
