Barker Ryan Stewart assisted Singleton Council with developing a concept design for the pipeline extension and bulk water fill station required for the Redbourneberry standpipe.
The project aimed to provide an additional standpipe in the Singleton potable water network for bulk water carriers.
The additional Redbourneberry standpipe is set to provide better water security and access for residents who aren’t on the existing potable network, alongside increasing the water turnover and improving the water quality for residents along the end of the main.
Our team developed a concept design of the bulk water filling station including the access road and two intersections, stormwater management, electricity supply, and 4km of DN200 water main including fittings and appurtenances. The design also comprised residual pressure analysis to determine operating pressures and parameters for pump station design.
The concept design and cost estimate issued by Barker Ryan Stewart will guide future design and construction works.
