Barker Ryan Stewart was engaged by Tes-AMM Australia for the provision of town planning services associated the proposed installation of a plant to process e-waste.
The existing e-waste facility located in Villawood provides Lifecycle Management Services for many IT organisations and corporations. The facility required ancillary development for which Barker Ryan Stewart provided planning advice to determine the most appropriate approval pathway.
The proposal included the transformation and up-cycling of electronic waste plastics and waste toner power to be utilised in the metallurgical industry. It also included converting select e-waste plastics into 3D printing filaments.
Barker Ryan Stewart provided town planning advice to the client to enable complying development certificates for the works and avoid a protracted DA process.
