In March 2022, we announced that Northern Rivers Land Solutions (NRLS) had amalgamated with Barker Ryan Stewart (BRS).
We wanted to provide an update that from Monday 18 July 2022 onwards, Northern Rivers Land Solutions has rebranded as Barker Ryan Stewart and both teams have been fully integrated to form one.
Founded by Tony Hart in 2012, NRLS had a strong track record providing surveying, town planning, consulting, and project management services for an extensive range of property and infrastructure developments in the Northern Rivers region.
With an established presence in Ballina, our Northern Rivers team will continue to provide its clients with expert local advice but will now have the support of our combined team for additional resources and capabilities.
Why have we decided to rebrand?
Over the past few months, both BRS and NRLS have been operating independently but working collaboratively to significantly increase the capacity and capabilities of both companies to service our clients along the East Coast.
Our CEO Andrea McDonald said, “In keeping with our purpose ‘we believe in better,’ we feel the rebranding is core to help ensure that we continuously deliver better outcomes for our clients, better service to our communities, and a better future for our environment.”

What does this mean for our clients?
Joining forces as one team will continue to benefit our Northern Rivers clients by allowing us to provide faster turnaround times and a more comprehensive range of services including infrastructure and civil engineering, surveying, town planning, traffic engineering and transport planning, project management, subdivision and strata certification, and TfNSW project verification.
We are proud to build upon NRLS’ strong foundation in the Northern Rivers region, and our combined team is driven by our shared understanding that everything we do personally and professionally has an impact on the communities in which we live, work and play.
