Barker Ryan Stewart was engaged by Singleton Council for the provision of surveying services associated with several local infrastructure upgrades to the area.
The surveys will assist in providing safer local roads and infrastructure for the community, as well as ensuring that the infrastructure continues to be a valuable and viable asset to Singleton Council.
Some of the projects we have been involved in include:
Hamiltons Crossing Road, Glendonbrook
We were engaged for the provision of a detail survey of approximately 2.4 kilometres of Hamiltons Crossing Road to assist Council with its investigation into the drainage improvement, road widening and sealing of Hamiltons Crossing Road.
The survey will be undertaken from the intersection of Hamiltons Crossing Road and Glendonbrook Road, to near the sealed section at the intersection with Mirranie Road within the existing road corridor.
The project forms part of the Resources for Regions program which helps to provide funding for infrastructure projects and community programs in mine affected areas. The upgrade will be beneficial for the local community given Hamiltons Crossing Road is an important community link between Mirannie and the Glendonbrook area.
Dyrring Road, Westbrook
We were engaged for the provision of a detail survey of approximately 200 metres of Dyrring Road to assist Council with its investigation into the replacement of the old timber Lizards Bridge.
The survey will be utilised for the preparation of the road design and will include the road and verge features, utility services, fencing, vegetation and boundaries.
Fernhill Road, Dalwood
We were engaged for the provision of a detail survey of approximately 2.3 kilometres of Fernhill Road within the existing formed road corridor to assist Council with its investigation into the widening of Fernhill Road.
The survey will be utilised for the preparation of the road design and will include the road and verge features, utility services, fencing, vegetation and boundaries.
