As part of the Maitland City Council’s 2016/2017 Capital Works Budget, Barker Ryan Stewart was engaged by the Council for civil engineering services to undertake the concept design for the Fieldsend Street road upgrade.
The design provided was for the upgrade and widening of Fieldsend Street between Metford Road and Turton Street. The associated works included the upgrade and widening of the road, provision of roadside parking, off-road cycleway, new footpath facilities, and a pedestrian bridge. These works will help facilitate for the future Maitland Hospital location and the adjacent sports ground.

- Concept design (including Utilities Impact Plan)
- Detailed preliminary design
- Final design (including setout)
