Wilcannia Embankment Survey
Our surveyors were tasked by Talis Consultants to complete a detail survey at Wilcannia, in north-western NSW. This survey was along a 6km stretch of the Darling River at Wilcannia to enable the design of a future footpath next to the river. The survey located vegetation, structures, levels, and the bridges adjacent to the Barrier Highway crossing.
This was the first survey undertaken by our survey team based in Ballina utilising the new GeoSLAM instrument. Utilisation of SLAM technology potentially cut the amount of time on-site by half.
Our surveyors stayed at nearby White Cliffs and during their work captured the natural and built beauty of the areas through landscape and drone photography.
