Winter Sports World is proposed to be a new world-class indoor snow resort bringing real snow to Sydney all year round.
Located in Western Sydney, the $400 million resort is set to become a major sporting attraction featuring an indoor snow resort, hotel, function rooms, food and beverage offerings, outdoor landscaping incorporating rock climbing, heated pools, roof terrace and various landscape features.
The resort will boast a 300-metre advanced run, jumps, moguls and other obstacles – with the run and terrain set to regularly change to provide new and exciting challenges for advanced skiers and snowboarders. Alongside the advanced run, the resort will offer a beginner slope with qualified instructors in a safe and controlled environment, making it the perfect place for beginners to learn.
The development will feature a 4-star hotel surrounded by views of the snowfields, conference facilities, and a variety of cafes and restaurants.
Set to be the first of its kind in Australia, Winter Sports World is expected to become a landmark tourist attraction generating around 1 million tourist visits a year following completion.
