Abdun is a Senior Traffic and Transport Engineer/Transport Planner with 20 years of traffic engineering, transport planning, road safety engineering, and project management experience.
Abdun has been involved in several major transport and traffic projects including a Highway Capacity Assessment, Corridor Strategy, Highway Strategic Review, Precinct Road Network Planning, major road network capacity analysis, level of service assessment of a major road network, speed management and road safety scheme development, strategic sustainable and integrated transport planning studies, and delivering traffic and road safety projects.
Abdun has extensive experience preparing Traffic Impact Assessments, Traffic Management Studies, project economic analysis, Pedestrian and Bicycle Studies, Access and Parking Studies, Local Area Traffic Management Plans, and intersection design and analysis.
His local government experience includes contributing to the transport and traffic components associated with the assessment and preparation of Strategic and Forward Plans, as well as investigating and preparing suitable reports and estimates to assess traffic matters for consideration by Local Traffic Committees and Council. He also has experience managing traffic impact on local Council networks for major State Government road and transport projects and undertaking major traffic studies.
Abdun is a Level 3 Road Safety Auditor and has experience conducting a wide range of road safety audits.
In his role as Traffic and Transport Manager, Abdun is responsible for supervising the traffic engineering team, co-ordinating projects, and providing expert technical advice.
Outside of work, Abdun enjoys travel, music, and sports.
