Situated on a 15-hectare site within the Western Sydney Parklands, Eastern Creek Quarter (ECQ) is a newly built retail, lifestyle, and entertainment precinct.
The first stage of ECQ (ECQ Shopping Centre) is a super-neighbourhood centre anchored by a 3,800 sqm full-line Woolworths supermarket and over 40 specialty retail stores. The centre features ECQ Social, an Australian-first ‘revolving retail’ concept comprising of a new dining and entertainment precinct. The revolving food tenancies at ECQ Social includes a diverse range of cuisines run by Western Sydney locals, alongside ample covered and alfresco seating, an outdoor deck, kids play area, and a large outdoor digital screen, and is a much loved community asset.
The second stage of the development, ‘ECQ XL’, has recently launched and comprises of a large format retail and showroom precinct featuring 14 new retailers including 4WD SupaCentre, McDonalds, Anaconda, Nutrition Warehouse, Officeworks, PETQuarters, Road Tech Marine, Weber Store, Totally Workwear, The T-Spoon Café, and RSEA Safety, with Kiddiwinks Childcare Centre, KFC, and Neptune Swim School still to come.
Complementing its Western Sydney Parklands location, ECQ Shopping Centre is a global leader in environmental sustainability and has achieved a certified 6 Star Green Star Design and As Built Rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. ECQ XL is targeting a 5 Star Green Star Design and As Built rating and will include a major 400kW solar panel system to generate energy for use on-site.
Barker Ryan Stewart was engaged by Frasers Property Australia as the Principal Certifier for the internal subdivision works and by Western Sydney Parklands as the TfNSW Project Verifier for the related intersection works on Rooty Hill Road South.
