Daniel is a Senior Civil Engineer with more than 10 years’ experience in the land development and civil construction sector, with significant experience from both local government and private practice. He joined Barker Ryan Stewart in 2017 as a Senior Civil Engineer looking to expand on his understanding of the industry he gained whilst working at council.
He has a broad knowledge and understanding of subdivision and land development works and the legislation that underpins development in NSW. He understands the industry best practise for the design and construction of roads, stormwater, water sensitive urban design and on-site detention structures, as well as for the soil and sediment erosion control of construction sites.
Daniel is a Registered Certifier with excellent experience in assessing Subdivision Works (previously Construction), Compliance and Subdivision Certificate applications. He has conducted hundreds of compliance inspections on hundreds of projects across NSW. He also has experience as an Independent Verifier overseeing development works for the TfNSW on arterial and sub-arterial roads under Major Works Authorisation Deeds.
In his role as Certification Manager, Daniel is responsible for mentoring and leading the certification team, coordinating projects, process improvement, and providing technical advice for subdivision and TfNSW verification projects.
Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and young family, watching most sports and getting outdoors for a bush walk or a kayak.
