Kings Forest Residential Development

Kings Forest is marked to be one of the largest new housing and employment subdivision developments in the Tweed area over the next 25 years, with a prime location on the far north coast of NSW, about 20km south of the Queensland border. It not only represents the region’s largest-ever investment but also establishes a robust infrastructure and amenities network, seamlessly woven into the fabric of northern NSW’s landscape.

BRS is involved in the delivery of Kings Forest, one of the largest master-planned residential and employment developments on the NSW North Coast. Located on the Tweed Coast between Bogangar and Kingscliff, the 869-hectare development will deliver approximately 4,500 homes for up to 13,000 residents, alongside a new town centre, education facilities, open space, and significant conservation areas.

BRS was engaged to provide Principal Certifier services for the project, supporting delivery across early stages of subdivision. Our role has included the issuance of Subdivision Works Certificates, undertaking compliance inspections, and reviewing quality assurance documentation to ensure works meet approval and regulatory requirements. As the Principal Certifier BRS have also issued various Subdivision Certificates for Precinct 5, enabling the release of new residential lots.

As a State Significant Development, Kings Forest involves complex coordination across multiple stakeholders, disciplines, and environmental considerations. BRS’s involvement is supporting the efficient delivery of critical infrastructure and subdivision outcomes, contributing to increased housing supply and the creation of a sustainable, community-focused coastal development.
